Duties

  • Conduct complex diagnostics, repairs, and warranty work across a broad vehicle range
  • Service electric and hybrid vehicles safely and effectively, adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve a variety of vehicle issues
  • Complete hydraulic repairs and perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks
  • Assist and mentor Apprentice Technicians to develop their technical skills as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality, ensuring compliance with company policies

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Recognized diagnostic qualification is essential
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or within a similar workshop environment, ideally in a main dealer setting
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake ongoing training, especially in electric and hybrid vehicle technology
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
