Duties
- Carry out all scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance work to manufacturer standards efficiently and within set timeframes
- Diagnose complex vehicle faults accurately and perform necessary repairs to high standards
- Support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and assisting with complex diagnostics
- Ensure all work documentation, including diagnosis results, service reports, and safety inspections, is completed thoroughly and accurately
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Contribute to maintaining high workshop productivity and customer satisfaction levels
Requirements as a Van Technician
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- At least 1-2 years of practical post-qualification experience within a busy automotive workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to carry out repairs efficiently
- Good team player with a committed and professional attitude
- Ability to produce high-quality workmanship within strict deadlines
- Flexible to work various shifts, with a 40-hour week pattern including early and late shifts
