ABOUT THE MODEL Brandon Centre Systemic Integrative Treatment (BC-SIT) is a NICE-guideline informed intervention for antisocial and/or harmful behaviour in children and adolescents. It is an intensive, community-based family treatment model which works across multiple systems, including family, school, peers and community, to address the factors that maintain problematic behaviour. Therapists primarily work with parents and carers in a collaborative and strengths-based way to support them in understanding and managing their childs behaviour, building confidence, and developing tools for current and future challenges. Phase 1 is an intensive intervention lasting up to 6 months and includes multiple weekly community-based sessions, professional meetings, behavioural planning and crisis support. Phase 2 extends treatment for up to a further 6 months and focuses on sustaining progress through booster sessions, relapse prevention work, consultation, professional liaison and structured follow-up. Phase 2 is delivered by a dedicated SIT clinician working closely with Phase 1 therapists and the wider network around the family. E.
