About this role
Resolution Coordinator
6-Month Fixed Term Contract
Looking for a fast-paced role where you can make a real difference from day one? Join Peabody as a Resolution Coordinator and play a key part in delivering a great experience for customers moving into their new homes.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be the main point of contact for residents during the defects period, taking ownership of issues and driving them through to resolution.
You’ll work closely with contractors, developers and internal teams, making sure problems are resolved quickly while keeping customers informed every step of the way.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience across new build housing projects, build strong professional relationships and develop your skills in a visible, customer-focused role.
You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of new homes, coordinating and tracking defects, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring agreed timescales are met. You’ll maintain accurate records using systems such as Clixifix and provide clear, proactive updates to residents and colleagues. The role also involves supporting handovers and carrying out end-of-defects inspections. You’ll typically spend around two days each week in the office or on site, with flexibility to work independently for the remainder.
We’re looking for someone who can manage competing priorities, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders and deliver a high standard of customer service. You should have experience in defects resolution, aftercare, repairs or a similar role within housing or construction, along with a good understanding of construction processes. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using IT systems including Excel are essential. Knowledge of NHBC or defects processes and systems such as Clixifix, Northgate or Vantage would be beneficial but not required.
In return, you’ll gain valuable exposure to new build developments and the opportunity to work with a wide network of teams and partners. You’ll enjoy a flexible, hybrid working pattern and a role where your work has a direct impact on customer satisfaction.
At Peabody, we are guided by our values: Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises and Pull Together. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone can thrive.
We offer a competitive benefits package including 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, two additional paid volunteering days each year, a flexible benefits scheme with access to discounts, life assurance at four times salary and up to a 10% pension contribution.
Please note this is a 6-month fixed term contract and we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
