Electrical Engineer Bias HOURS

We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Operative who can support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across a predominantly static site in Manston, with occasional travel to other sites in Kent.

Role Responsibilities

-Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks

-Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders via a mobile working app and CAFM

-Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations

-Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted

-Maintain high standards of housekeeping, attend toolbox talks, take part in a call-out rota, and support multi-skilled PPM, reactive, and remedial works

Required Qualifications

applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

-Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations

-Additional electrical qualifications such as C&G 2491 and/or C&G 2357 (or equivalent electrotechnical qualifications)

-Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls

-Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures

-Self-motivated, organised, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns
