Theale Medical Centre is recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Dispensary Assistant/Dispenser to join our friendly practice dispensary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, patient-focused, and able to work well in a busy clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and safely in line with practice protocols. Process repeat and acute prescription requests. Handle patient queries by phone, in person, and via clinical tasks. Provide advice and support to patients within scope of practice. Take payments for private prescriptions and dispensed items. Assist with stock control, ordering, and checking deliveries. Support Prescription Management activities, ensuring safe and timely workflow. Support Medicines Reconciliation and Docman processing (adding/amending medications under guidance). Maintain accurate records and ensure all dispensary processes meet legal and clinical governance standards.
