Position Overview and Scope The Therapeutic Services Lead plays a key leadership role within KT Healthcare, providing operational leadership and oversight across Therapeutic Services. The post holder is responsible for ensuring high-quality therapeutic support is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently across all service pathways, with a particular focus on Local Authority and EHCP provision. The Therapeutic Services Lead will oversee the coordination and management of referrals, therapist allocation, EHCP pathways, and service delivery while ensuring compliance with information governance, safeguarding and quality standards. The post holder will provide leadership, supervision, mentorship and guidance to the Therapeutic Services team, promoting a positive and collaborative culture while supporting service growth, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The Therapeutic Services Lead will act as the senior point of contact for Local Authorities, Councils, schools, therapists and key stakeholders, ensuring excellent relationships are maintained and that services are delivered in line with agreed contractual and clinical expectations. Key Responsibilities and Duties Provide operational leadership and oversight across the Therapeutic Services department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across all pathways. Lead and manage the Therapeutic Services team including therapists, coordinators, administrative staff and relevant operational roles, ensuring clear objectives, accountability and high performance. Act as the senior point of contact for Local Authorities, Councils, schools and external stakeholders regarding referrals, EHCP provision and therapeutic service delivery. Oversee referral management processes from initial enquiry through to service implementation, ensuring timely responses and high standards of communication. Maintain oversight of therapist allocation and referral matching, ensuring services are assigned appropriately based on clinical suitability, availability and service requirements. Review and oversee EHCP requirements, ensuring therapists understand agreed levels of provision, session requirements and allocated hours. Monitor therapeutic provision to ensure services remain within agreed parameters and contractual obligations. Lead the annual EHCP review process, coordinating therapist input, Local Authority communication and required amendments to future therapeutic provision. Support therapists through regular communication, supervision, mentorship and operational guidance to promote consistency and quality across services. Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, schools, therapists, NHS stakeholders and private sector partners to support service growth and continuity. Promote safeguarding, ethical practice and adherence to professional standards across all therapeutic pathways. Maintain oversight of confidential records, ensuring compliance with GDPR, information governance and company policies. Participate in audits, data analysis and service evaluation activities to support governance, quality monitoring and service improvements. Identify opportunities for service development, process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance patient and stakeholder experience. Work alongside Managing Director and Co-Founders to support business growth, build relationships with commissioning organisations and maintain service delivery within agreed budgets. Contribute to policy development, operational procedures and wider strategic initiatives across KT Healthcare. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical or operational management systems. Experience using case management, scheduling or electronic record systems. Ability to interpret operational data and produce reports relating to service performance and outcomes. Strong understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and information governance requirements. Experience reviewing and managing contractual requirements and service provision agreements. Qualifications Required Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience within healthcare, therapeutic services, neurodevelopmental services, education or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership, supervisory or management role. Experience working with Local Authorities, EHCP pathways or multidisciplinary therapeutic services. Desirable Leadership or management qualification, or evidence of relevant training. Experience in service development or transformation within healthcare or educational settings. Experience supporting neurodevelopmental, mental health or therapy services. Experience working with commissioned services and external stakeholders.
