Duties and responsibilities

Role Summary Responsibility for storage of all medical gases within the medical gas cylinder stores and clinical areas, to include managing and supervising storage areas, expiry date checking and stock rotation. Responsibility for the segregation of part used cylinders within the cylinder store to enable re-issue to areas able to safely use. Supports carrying out audits regarding medical gases looking at security of medical gases and efficiency of returning used cylinders. Provides high level supervision, training and assistance to the porters for cylinder management throughout the trust by supporting cylinder management and tracking systems as they are introduced Please see Job Description and Person Specification for full details.
