About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join our laboratory production team in Dartford. In this onsite role, you will work within a manufacturing lab environment preparing buffers, reagents, and intermediates while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

This position offers full training, making it a great opportunity for individuals looking to build or expand a career in science and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Testing

Manufacture buffers, reagents, and intermediates, and conduct standard testing in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Lab Operations

Perform daily housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and basic calibration tasks.

Documentation & Inventory

Maintain accurate records, log data according to site protocols, and perform inventory tasks including SAP transactions and weekly cycle counts.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all health and safety policies, read and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and report any quality or safety concerns.

Team Collaboration

Participate in daily team meetings, support manufacturing planning, and manage stock levels.

What We Are Looking For

Education

A-levels in a scientific field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

Skills

Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Communication

Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.

Experience (Plus, but not required): Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with lab equipment is advantageous, but not essential as full training is provided.
