Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and inclusive school community?
A welcoming and highly inclusive one-form entry primary school in the heart of Chiswick is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join its expanding SEND Resource Provision, supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) whose primary needs relate to learning and cognition.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a specialist provision at an important stage of development. Following the successful launch of a KS1 Resource Provision in partnership with a specialist setting in September 2025, the school is now expanding to include a KS2 provision from September 2026. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils to access learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
- Supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with EHCPs and learning/cognition needs
- Delivering tailored classroom support to help pupils engage with learning and develop independence
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SEND professionals, and wider staff to ensure high-quality support and consistency
- Contributing to a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement, and personal development
- Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly pupils with EHCPs and learning or cognition needs
- Demonstrate a proactive, reflective, and creative approach to supporting learning and development
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Bring patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role
- Be passionate about inclusive education and committed to high expectations for every child
