Multi-Agency Child Protection Team Lead - RBKCW | Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust

CLCH is seeking a Registered Nurse, Midwife or Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner to lead Health’s contribution to the Families First Partnership Programme and Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) across Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea.

This Band 8a role offers an opportunity to shape how health contributes to integrated support and safeguarding for children, young people and families. Based within the Multi-Agency Hub/MACPT, you will provide expert clinical advice, strengthen health’s contribution to multi-agency decision-making and help drive service development and improvement.

You will

• Provide senior health leadership across the Family Help and MACPT model.
• Advise on complex safeguarding and child protection matters.
• Influence strategy, policy, practice and workforce development.
• Build effective partnerships across health, social care, education, police and other agencies.
• Support quality assurance, learning and continuous improvement.

You will bring your professional expertise to a collaborative environment where your leadership can make a meaningful difference to outcomes for children, young people and families.

• Lead Health’s contribution to the Family Help and MACPT model, ensuring health needs and perspectives are embedded in multi-agency practice.
• Act as the lead health professional within safeguarding forums, providing expert clinical advice and professional challenge where appropriate.
• Contribute to complex safeguarding and child protection assessment, planning and decision-making.
• Develop strong working relationships with children’s social care, education, primary and acute care, police and wider safeguarding partners.
• Lead and support service transformation, quality improvement and effective implementation of change.
• Influence policy, procedures, practice and workforce development to strengthen safeguarding arrangements.
• Lead quality assurance activity, including audit, learning reviews and implementation of identified improvements.
• Use evidence, professional expertise and partnership working to promote better outcomes for children, young people and families.
