Job overview We are looking for a motivated and experienced manager who can bring enthusiasm and energy to the assistant service manager role within Obstetrics & Gynaecology on a 6 month secondment. The Assistant Service Manager will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Service Manager to provide a highly effective and efficient service delivery. You will have an operational lead role for all administrative functions with additional responsibilities, working under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager. Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Assistant Delivery Manager assists the Service Delivery Manager/ Service Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the services/ specialities, to deliver high quality patient services within the resources available. Working under the supervision of the Service Delivery Manager/ Service Manager, this role will have a strong operational focus providing support for day-to-day management and administration of services/specialities and deputising for the Service Manager/ Service Delivery Manager.
