About this role
The Asset Manager will be responsible for maximizing the operational and financial performance of the company's residential property portfolio, focusing on small and large HMOs in the west London region. This role ensures properties are compliant, well-maintained, and aligned with the company's investment objectives and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management strategies for residential properties.
- Monitor portfolio performance, including occupancy levels, void periods, rental income, and operating costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve asset value, operational efficiency, and resident outcomes.
- Conduct regular property and portfolio performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate asset records, property data, and lifecycle information.
- Maximize revenue through creative solutions across a portfolio of around 350 units.
- Oversee refurbishments, planning applications, and development projects.
- Identify relevant investment opportunities and diversification strategies.
- Work closely with Property Management, Compliance, Finance, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Deliver safe, high-quality accommodation for residents while improving financial returns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in asset management or property management.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in property management or asset management are preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in managing residential properties and maximizing revenue.
- Experience in working with local authorities and understanding compliance regulations.
