About the Role
We are seeking an empathetic, clinically proficient, and proactive female Healthcare Assistant to join a dedicated care team supporting an individual diagnosed with
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) within her family home.
The client is a resilient individual who values her independence, enjoys literature and classic television, and aims to re-engage with community activities, such as visiting local cafes. As her respiratory intervention is relatively recent, she requires a reassuring, clinical presence to assist with symptom management and alleviate anxiety during respiratory care routines.
Please note
The client resides in a family environment with household pets (cats and a dog). Candidates should be comfortable working in an animal-friendly home.

Key responsibilities may include

Tracheal suctioning and ventilation via tracheostomy

Operating Cough Assist equipment
-
Supporting daily routines, personal care, and emotional wellbeing

Accompanying the client on social outings to local cafes
You'll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Key Requirements

Minimum 6 months of professional care experience

Right to work in the UK (We do not offer sponsorship)

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
