The Opportunity
A well-established and highly regarded NW construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced
Senior / Project Manager to join its growing team.
With a strong pipeline of secured work the business is delivering a diverse portfolio of projects from £10m - £50m in value including:

Commercial and office developments

Residential new-build and refurbishment projects

Hotel and hospitality projects

Healthcare and education developments
-
Heritage and listed building refurbishments

Façade, external envelope and major refurbishment projects
The Role
The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of construction projects from
pre-construction and inception through to completion, handover and customer care.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading project teams and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery
- Managing projects to programme and budget
- Preparing Contractors' Proposals and reviewing Employers' Requirements
- Managing client relationships and maintaining strong communication
- Leading operational management of live projects and bids
- Working closely with Commercial, Pre-Construction, HSEQ, Planning and Senior Management teams
- Developing detailed project programmes
- Identifying and resolving project issues effectively
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Proven experience as a
Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing and methodologies
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage demanding programmes, budgets and deadlines
