Please see the attached detailed job description and person specification To work as a valued member of the Nuclear Medicine Physics team, based within the Royal Brompton Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department performing on-site activities and work at/for additional clinical group sites/ other organisations (as required) including the PET department at 77 Wimpole Street and Harefield Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department. To perform a range of clinical technical activities involving specialist equipment quality control testing, auditing, research and development, image and data computer analysis/ processing, interpretation of diagnostic test results and radiation safety tasks in order to contribute to safe and effective patient diagnosis and treatment, the development of clinical services and optimised use of ionising radiation. To provide specialist scientific, technical and radiation safety services, as directed by the Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics/ RPA/ MPE/ RWA. To act as an operator as defined by IR(ME)R on completion of satisfactory training and competence assessment. To work towards registration as a Clinical Scientist.
