An opportunity has arisen at Haveley Hey Community School for a Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

Working Pattern

12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All-Year Round.2.

15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All-Year Round During school holidays, hours will be as directed by the site manager, between 08.00 and 16.00.

Salary Details

Grade 1 Point 2, £24,413 per annum

Actual Salary

Grade 1 Point 2 , £8,719 per annum (working Pattern 1)Actual Salary Grade 1 Point 2, £10,463 per annum (working pattern 2)

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.

Job requirements• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in an educational setting• Be very well organised• Have great communication skills• A positive and proactive approach• Work well under pressure
