£36,005 - £45,007 per annum (offered between this range, dependent on experience) plus a Car Allowance of £2,329 per annum

We’re looking for a dynamic, dedicated and community‑minded Senior Moat Foundation Officer to lead our team working across our vibrant Kent region. Our new team member will lead one of our Hubs and oversee our work in two other Hubs, in Supported and Retirement Living (S&RL) schemes and a portfolio of regional projects that unlock opportunities for our customers.

You’ll lead your region’s community investment work, ensuring it is customer‑led, evidence‑based and genuinely life‑enhancing.

What you’ll be doing

Provide supportive line‑management to a Senior Hub Officer, Moat Foundation Officer and Hub Officer’s, building a motivated, high-performing team delivering an outstanding local offer.

Lead by example delivering community impact in one of our Hubs.

Drive the development of your region, ensuring every activity is safe, evidence‑led, impactful and focuses on the needs of our customers.

Co‑produce sustainable, customer-led activities and projects that range from social value initiatives to direct delivery within Hubs and S&RL schemes, and oversee local community investment funds and project commissioning.

Use insight, data and community intelligence to shape next steps and innovate programmes that help communities thrive.

Represent Moat Foundation across stakeholder networks, building strong relationships and raising our regional profile.

Lead stakeholder forums, community committees and partnership panels that bring people and ideas together.

Oversee safe, compliant operations across multiple sites, maintaining high standards of health and safety, safeguarding, risk management and governance.

Collate impact data, case studies and performance information to “tell the story” of your region and evidence the difference we make.

Manage regional budgets effectively and support future planning.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands‑on doer, someone who is as comfortable leading people as they are connecting with customers.

You will have

Strong experience in community investment, customer engagement or similar customer-led roles.

Demonstrated success managing people and volunteers to deliver high-impact services.

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with confidence working across all levels.

Operational knowledge

safeguarding, risk management, commissioning, direct delivery, health and safety.

Experience using data, insight and professional judgement to shape services.

A collaborative spirit - someone proud to act as a Moat Foundation ambassador.

Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends and have suitable transport for regional travel.
