Personal Assistant - Support Worker

Liberty Lodge Ltd is a local, independent provider of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs with 3 supported living settings in Folkestone.

Full time/ Part time positions are available supporting adults with Mental Health & Learning Disabilities across units, working alongside our friendly team.

Our Service Users are at the heart of everything we do at Liberty.Your job as a Personal Assistant is to ensure our Service Users lead valued and fulfilling lives, helping them to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability. Being a Support Worker with us means you may be helping our service users on a 24 hours basis.

You may support them to attend daycare, help with personal tasks, support with household jobs or enjoy their favourite hobby, You will support them planning days out & holidays . Support than to attend medical/dental/opticians appointments, making sure they understand what's going on.

Your role will be varied and no two days will be the same. You need to be a good listener, observer and understand and support the individual needs of each client.

We are looking for experienced support workers, with can do attitudes and good values. You will work together with people’s family, friends and the professionals who get involved in their lives. Together you will support the person to enable them to live independently and achieve their ambitions.

Previous experience & Level 3 preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.

The role requires flexibility and shift work, covering days and nights over 24hrs.

We provide on-going training with both internal and external providers.
