Chapel Down Plc • Kent, South East England
About this role
We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individuals to support our annual harvest and vineyard operations. Join our team and assist with a range of seasonal viticulture and horticultural activities across our vineyards in Tenterden and surrounding areas of Kent.
Duties may include harvesting and crop handling, vineyard maintenance, cleaning, general farm support and other seasonal tasks as required during peak periods. Work will be carried out outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions, including rain or sunshine, so suitable clothing and footwear are essential.
This is a temporary seasonal position suited to individuals who can work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role may involve repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, lifting and working with agricultural equipment and produce.
Previous experience in vineyards, agriculture, horticulture, food production or manual handling is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants should demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Working hours may vary depending on weather conditions, crop readiness and operational requirements, and flexibility during busy harvest periods will be required.
