Specialist Occupational Therapist - Band 6

In this role, you will support patients with activities of daily living, provide advice on symptom management and equipment use, arrange adaptations and equipment where appropriate, and undertake home assessments to support safe and timely discharge. You will also contribute to rehabilitative models of care across hospice settings. You will act as a specialist resource for colleagues, sharing up-to-date occupational therapy knowledge and promoting evidence-based practice. The role also includes contributing to education, training, service development, clinical governance and the positive promotion of the Hospices values and services.
