We are looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to provide support in a friendly home environment for a 45 year old woman living with her husband, son and pet cat. This is a rewarding role supporting day-to-day independence through personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, health support, and general assistance.

Duties include assistance with personal care such as showering, dressing, hair care, oral hygiene, stoma and catheter care, medication prompting, and evening bedtime routines. You will also help with preparing meals and drinks, laundry, cleaning, changing bedding, shopping, paperwork, and supporting exercise or physio routines. Some assistance with outings and correspondence may also be required.

We are looking for someone compassionate, respectful, organised, and comfortable providing hands-on support with dignity and professionalism. Previous care experience is helpful but not essential for the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Available Shifts

We are currently recruiting for the following regular shifts

Sunday mornings

9:30 am – 12:30 pm (ASAP start)

Friday, Saturday, and

Sunday evenings

8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

We are also looking for Bank Staff to cover additional shifts including

Monday –

Friday

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Monday –

Friday evenings

8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Saturday

9:30 am – 11:30 am

Sunday

9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday evenings

7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

  • Dressing / undressing
  • Catheter care - changing/emptying + monitoring skin and applying topical medication when necessary
  • Stoma care - changing/emptying bag + monitoring skin and apply topical medication when necessary + managing ballooning

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
