What you'll do

  • Carry out a range of cleaning duties across designated office and communal areas, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness.
  • Clean hard floor surfaces using the appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
  • Clean and dust low-level surfaces in accordance with cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain meeting rooms, ensuring they are left clean, tidy and ready for use.
  • Empty waste bins and correctly separate waste and recycling into the designated areas.
  • Complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently within your allocated working hours.
  • Follow cleaning procedures and safe working practices to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, hazards or maintenance concerns promptly to your supervisor.
  • Follow Health & Safety, fire safety and site procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with other members of the cleaning team, providing support when required.
  • Manage your own workload and prioritise areas requiring additional attention.
  • Complete any required handover information to ensure important issues are communicated to the wider team.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while working within the building.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience within a cleaning role would be beneficial.
  • A good understanding of effective cleaning methods and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering a high standard of work.
  • A reliable, organised and proactive approach.
  • Good time-management skills with the ability to complete tasks within the allocated shift.
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues when required.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritise cleaning tasks effectively.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety within a cleaning environment would be advantageous.
  • The ability to undertake a physically active role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching and carrying out repetitive cleaning tasks.
