The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards across the hospital. You will oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring that all clinical and non-clinical areas, including patient wards, theatres, and public spaces, are cleaned to the highest standards. This position requires a strong, proactive leader with excellent supervisory skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the high cleaning standards of our wards and departments, allocate housekeepers assistants to various wards and department areas on a daily basis to ensure that the hospital is clean, safe and provides a welcoming environment to all the Trust’s patients, visitors and staff.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor will organize the rosters to ensure that appropriate cover is provided for all shifts and areas.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor will participate in the rostering of staff and must ensure best use of department’s financial resources.
- The successful applicant will assist the Assistant Hotel Services Manager in the provision of other services within the Hotel Services Department and to assist with the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Assist with the day-to-day allocation of staff to ensure that all areas of the housekeeping team responsibility are covered.
- In the event of staff shortages, re-allocate staff to give cover, and request staff from bank.
- Maintain records of staff hours, for annual leave, sickness and absence.

This position isnot eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold theright to work in the UKfor the full duration of the contract.
