We are looking for a SITS Support Officer to join our newly established Digital Products Directorate at Canterbury Christ Church University. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting essential systems that underpin the student lifecycle.

In this role, you will provide first-line support for the SITS student records system, helping staff across the university with queries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience. You’ll work closely with Student and Academic Services (SAS) and IT teams to maintain data quality, improve processes, and support system users effectively.

How to be successful

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and an excellent user experience for SITS users across the university. You will take a proactive approach to understanding user needs, ensuring knowledge and guidance remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with evolving business processes.

You will be confident in supporting a range of stakeholders in their day-to-day activities, communicating clearly and effectively, and providing training that enables users to work efficiently and independently. A collaborative mindset is essential, as you will work closely with colleagues across teams to support business needs and improve processes.

You will also demonstrate adaptability, willingness to learn and curiosity, taking opportunities to contribute to wider Digital Products initiatives and projects beyond core support responsibilities, helping to drive continuous improvement across the service.

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is Flexible and connected (Professional Services) Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year, but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders.

It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus, but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
