Hours
Working 14 hours per week – Wednesdays 9am to 5pm with flexibility on how the other 7 hours can be worked across the week (this may include some evenings) – to be discussed at interview
Salary
£10,850 - £13,562 per annum (salary offered between this range, dependent on experience) plus a Car Allowance of £932 per annum and London Allowance of £1,096 per annum

If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for a friendly, motivated and community‑minded Hub Officer to join the Wellbeing Studio in Pollards Hill. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same and where you’ll see the positive impact of your work every single day.
About the role
As our Hub Officer, you'll be at the heart of community life in Pollards Hill. You’ll help deliver a wide range of activities for children, young people, adults and older residents - supporting wellbeing, confidence, skills and social connection.
You’ll work closely with our Senior Hub Officer, the Pollards Hill Community Committee (PHCC) and Moat Foundation to create a welcoming, safe and inspiring space for everyone.
What you’ll be doing
Deliver activities and programmes that help residents improve their health, wellbeing, confidence and skills.
Support customers of all ages to get involved, feel included and build positive networks.
Work alongside the Wellbeing Studio team, PHCC and local partners to co-create a customer-led programme.
Develop engaging, outcome-focused sessions shaped by community needs.
Build partnerships, spot opportunities and contribute to projects that enhance lives in Pollards Hill.
Capture data, stories, photos and case studies (in line with governance guidelines) to help us reflect the real impact of our work.
Contribute to the smooth running of the hub, including volunteer support and occasional events.

What we’re looking for
Experience of engaging children, young people and adults in community or wellbeing activities.
The ability to listen, empathise and build trust with our customers.
Strong communication skills - confident engaging people in person, in writing and verbally.
Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills (including Outlook, Word and Excel).
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including alongside volunteers.
A creative, adaptable and solution-focused approach to delivery.
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to support community needs.
It would be great (but not essential) if you also have
Local knowledge of Pollards Hill and the issues affecting residents.
Access to a car with business-use insurance.
An understanding of housing policies, safeguarding and confidentiality.
Experience planning events and community activities.
