With a turnover exceeding £300M and continued growth across the business, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Director to join their senior leadership team and help shape the future of the business.

This contractor has built its reputation on long-standing relationships, delivery excellence, and a people-first culture where high performers are recognised, trusted, and given genuine autonomy to succeed. Their portfolio includes landmark commercial schemes across London, with projects typically valued between £75M-£100M.

The role is far more than operational delivery. They are looking for a true client-facing leader with experience not only delivering complex projects, leading from the front, but also interviewing extensively for bids, contributing to work-winning activity, and building long-term relationships across the London market.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading major CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Taking full ownership across all operational and commercial aspects of project delivery
• Driving work-winning activity and supporting strategic business growth
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Providing leadership and direction to project teams across multiple phases of delivery
• Working closely with senior leadership to influence business strategy and project success
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Managing stakeholder communication throughout the full project lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial fit out projects within the London market
• Track record successfully leading projects valued between £75M - £100M
• Strong commercial awareness and operational leadership capability
• Established relationships across the consultant, client, and subcontractor market
• Experience in work winning, client management, and strategic project leadership
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• A modern and forward-thinking approach to project delivery and team management
