Clinical Lead

As an IUC Clinical Lead, you will play a key leadership role within Practice Plus IUC's London Out of Hours service, combining advanced clinical practice with operational leadership. This part-time position offers 15 hours per week and provides the flexibility to work predominantly remotely, with occasional travel to our Uxbridge and Putney sites for meetings, service activities and key stakeholder engagement. Working autonomously as an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will ensure patients receive safe, effective, high-quality urgent care while supporting the service to achieve its clinical, quality and performance objectives. You will work closely with Service Managers, Medical Leads and senior colleagues to strengthen clinical governance, workforce development and continuous improvement across. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to undertake clinical sessions across the service, either remotely or face-to-face depending on the session type. You will provide oversight in areas including safeguarding, medicines management and patient safety while supporting innovation and service redesign. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will also play an integral role in recruitment, conducting interviews and assessing new ANPs and ACPs against agreed competency frameworks.
