About this role
The post holder will be a vital member of the GI urgent suspected cancer (USC) pathway, diagnostic team.
Duties of the role
Delivery of diagnostic and low risk therapeutic GI endoscopy lists within a team of CEs performing up to 4 lists per week as well as flexible backfill for sickness and leave. Delivery of USC telephone assessment clinics (TAC) The post holder will also participate in a rotation delivering endoscopy every sixth weekend Additional educational opportunities, depending on the post holders training needs, will be available in other areas of Gastroenterology / Endoscopy
