Cleaner

The Best Connection is currently looking for reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join the facilities team on behalf of one of our clients.

This is

ad hoc work, offering flexible shifts to cover busy periods and staff absence.

This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shopping centre, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of all public areas within the shopping centre
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning toilets and welfare facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, fixtures, and fittings
• Maintaining cleanliness in entrances, walkways, and communal areas
• Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Flexible approach to working hours

Availability Required

• Monday to Sunday availability

12:00pm - 8:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Ad hoc work with flexible shifts
