A leading power & utilities contractor is seeking an

NG General Operative (NG Person - Substation) to support emergency works at an LPT2 National Grid site in London. You will assist site teams working within a live substation environment and help ensure safe, compliant delivery of critical activities.

Duties

-

Support teams working inside a live National Grid substation.

-

Assist with general labouring and operational tasks.

-

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and plant operators.

-

Support safe lifting and material‑handling operations.

-

Maintain clean, organised, and compliant work areas.

-

Follow National Grid safety rules and site procedures.

-

Carry out tasks as directed to support emergency/reactive works.
