About this role

Attend ward rounds with consultant and middle grade doctors to identify and carry out tasks to support delivery of treatment such as phlebotomy, ordering of radiological investigations, insertion of intravenous cannulae, performing ECG recordings and organizing of specialist tests and/or referrals. Attend Board Rounds in order to identify and carry out relevant administrative tasks and to take daily handover of work for the day. To work flexibly to support the teams as they vary in numbers with rota commitments. To prioritise workload. Maintain clear handover information about the patients with whom they are involved. To work effectively as a team member.Take part in departmental teaching, governance and audit activities.
