Specialty Doctor in Haematology

The post holder will participate in haematology clinics which cover a wide spectrum of haematological malignancies and general/ non-malignant disorders. The post holder will also provide cover for the day unit to review and manage patients on chemotherapy who are unwell and perform procedures including bone marrows, intrathecal chemotherapy administration (subject to training and approval) and chemotherapy prescriptions. The post holder will also participate in haematology clinics which cover a wide spectrum of haematological malignancies and general/ non-malignant disorders. You will have the opportunity to be involved in research and attend multi-disciplinary team meetings. There will be an opportunity for involvement in research and audit and time available for laboratory training depending on the individual needs.
