The Opportunity

Make an Impact in Key Stage 2

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 5 class? We are working closely with a 3 form entry mainstream primary school in the Liverpool area to appoint a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the classroom experience

Curriculum Delivery

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.

Full Class Responsibility

Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.

Inclusion & Differentiation

Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.

Assessment & Strategy

Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.

Collaborative Working

Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Experience

Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 2 preferably Year 5 or 6, with an understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.
