Trust Grade - General Medicine (Willow)

Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting with acute and general medical conditions. Deliver safe, effective inpatient care under Consultant supervision. Participate in the General Medicine on-call rota, including evenings, nights and weekends. Review patients on ward rounds, develop management plans and maintain accurate clinical records. Respond to deteriorating patients and medical emergencies across the hospital. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and effective discharge planning. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, relatives and colleagues. Participate in outpatient clinics and specialty activities where appropriate. Contribute to clinical audit, quality improvement, teaching and clinical governance activities. Maintain professional standards in line with GMC requirements and engage in ongoing professional development.
