We are currently recruiting for a

Hospital Logistics Assistant to support a busy operating theatre environment at Epsom Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, warehousing, stock control, stores, retail stockrooms, hospitality, or similar hands-on operational roles who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team that makes a real difference.

The Role

Working behind the scenes, you will play a vital role in ensuring theatre teams have the equipment, stock and supplies they need to deliver patient care effectively.

Your responsibilities will include

• Moving theatre trolleys and equipment between departments
• Collecting deliveries and transporting stock across site
• Replenishing and organising storeroom stock
• Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
• Rotating stock and maintaining stock accuracy
• Ensuring supplies are available where and when they are needed
• Supporting the wider hospital logistics and theatre teams with day-to-day operational requirements

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience within logistics, stores, warehousing, retail, hospitality or similar environments would be advantageous
• A professional and positive attitude
