Groundworker
Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our team for a 3-month project in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic project involving drainage work, laying Beaney kerbs, digging 600mm drainage, and installing edgings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the necessary certifications to perform the job safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform drainage work, including digging 600mm drainage trenches.
- Lay Beaney kerbs and install edgings with precision and accuracy.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card (mandatory).
- Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
- Proven experience in drainage work, kerb laying, and edging installation.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of the day’s tasks.
