Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our team for a 3-month project in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic project involving drainage work, laying Beaney kerbs, digging 600mm drainage, and installing edgings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the necessary certifications to perform the job safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform drainage work, including digging 600mm drainage trenches.
• Lay Beaney kerbs and install edgings with precision and accuracy.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card (mandatory).
• Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
• Proven experience in drainage work, kerb laying, and edging installation.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Day-to-Day

• Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of the day’s tasks.
• Perform excavation and drainage work as per project specifications.
• Lay Beaney kerbs and install edgings with attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and team members.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and stored properly at the end of the day.
