Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Milton Keynes, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles efficiently and to high standards
• Perform diagnostic work, warranty repairs, and routine servicing
• Handle tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and general mechanical repairs
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) adhering to workshop standards
• Complete accurate job card write-ups to ensure high levels of productivity and quality
• Work collaboratively within a team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician

• Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician in a workshop environment
• Confident working on diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
• Strong team player with a professional, process-driven approach
• MOT license is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided
• Eager to expand knowledge in manufacturer accreditation, EV, and hybrid technologies
• Ability to work 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
