The Caledonian Edinburgh is seeking a

Casual Bartender to join our distinguished team. Set in the heart of Scotland’s capital, our hotel is synonymous with timeless elegance, refined hospitality, and unforgettable guest experiences.

The Person

A polished and engaging hospitality professional with a passion for luxury service
Confident communicator with a warm, guest-focused approach
Detail-driven with strong presentation and service standards
Calm, adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced bar environment
Flexible to work evenings, weekends & varying shifts.

The Role

Deliver refined, memorable bar experiences from day to evening service
Uphold the hotel luxury standards across all beverage operations
Create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere for every guest
Showcase strong knowledge of premium spirits, cocktails and wines
Contribute creativity and flair to drink presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve drinks to exceptional quality and brand standards
Provide personalised beverage recommendations and attentive service
Maintain immaculate bar presentation, stock levels and equipment
Upsell premium products through confident product knowledge
Work collaboratively with the wider Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless service.
