SEN Teacher - North London - September Start - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school based in North London for a September start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed SEN Teacher who is confident planning and delivering tailored lessons for pupils with a range of additional needs.

The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, manage behaviour effectively, and create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN
  • Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex needs
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
  • Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development
  • Manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, progress reviews, and individual learning plans
  • Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have previous SEN teaching experience
  • Be confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
  • Be passionate about helping vulnerable learners achieve progress
