SEN Teacher - East London - September Start - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school based in East London for a September start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

The school supports students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, moderate learning difficulties, and complex needs.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive and consistent strategies
  • Contribute to EHCP targets, progress reviews, and individual learning plans
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have previous SEN teaching experience
  • Be confident supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Be patient, adaptable, and resilient
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
