A thriving three‑form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a committed Year 3 Teacher to join them from September, working Wednesday to Friday. The school holds a strong Ofsted rating and is recognised locally for its inclusive culture, high expectations and a leadership team that is both visible and genuinely invested in staff development. With a diverse intake and a high number of pupils with SEND, the school places real value on consistency, calm behaviour management and high‑quality teaching.
The successful teacher will be joining a warm, collaborative KS2 team where planning is shared, support is readily available and staff wellbeing is taken seriously. This is a long‑term role, and the school is keen to secure someone who can offer stability and build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
What the Role Involves
- Teaching a Year 3 class from Wednesday to Friday
- Delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that support progress for all learners
- Maintaining a purposeful, well‑managed classroom environment
- Working closely with TAs and deploying them effectively to support SEND pupils
- Contributing to planning, assessment and wider phase responsibilities
What You'll Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Strong UK classroom experience, ideally within KS2
- Confident behaviour management and the ability to support a range of SEND needs
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- A genuine commitment to a long‑term placement and providing continuity for pupils
- Applications from non‑QTS candidates cannot be considered
Pay & Benefits
- £160-£260 per day, depending on experience
