About this role
Job summary 1. To successfully complete the OT process in a variety of rotations. 2. To be able to work autonomously and seek support when required. 3. To successfully build on clinical and non-clinical skills and take increasing responsibility and ownership of caseload and clinical decisions. 4. To be able to complete assessments, treatments and discharges in a timely manner. 5. To provide effective client centred occupational therapy service to patients who may have complex needs in your current area of rotation in accordance with the College of Occupational Therapists Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. 6. To devise, implement and evaluate individual treatment and interventions. 7. To work effectively and efficiently on an individual and team level within a multi-disciplinary team and maintain clear communication networks with staff, patients, and carers. 8. To build partnerships with and network with colleagues across health and social care and with voluntary and statutory agencies, and work in partnership with relevant community resources. 9. Participate in the inpatient physio and OT weekend working rota. Please see attached job description and person specification for more details.
