Due to expansion, a new team is being formed, and they are looking for an Operations Technician/ Legacy Operations Technician
Your new role
Your new role as an Operations Technician means that you will be reviewing and resolving legacy transactions from beginning to completion. Some of your key responsibilities will include investigating and resolving legacy unpaid premiums and unallocated cash, premium processing into internal accounting systems, monitoring end-to-end process through to resolution and reconciling incoming payments against transactions processed. Other key responsibilities will be to review ledgers regularly to ensure that premiums are signed, and legacy issues resolved, as well as regularly reviewing bordereau submissions and query resolution. It is important in this role that you liaise with other teams to include, IBA, alongside liaising with clients and underwriters. You will also be expected to attend regular control meetings for your team as well as attend a weekly/monthly call with the legacy processing team.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have Premium or Technical processing experience in a similar role. You should have an understanding of the end-to-end settlement process and ideally have experience with Binders. This role would suit a candidate who possesses good communication skills, is organised and possesses strong analytical skills. It is also beneficial if you are proficient in MS Office Applications.
