Up to £35,000 per annum | 40 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and hands-on learning for children of all ages.

The nursery features dedicated rooms tailored to each age group, alongside exciting sensory rooms and soft play areas that encourage exploration and development through play. Outdoors, children benefit from a well-equipped garden complete with a sandpit, gardening area, and plenty of engaging toys and activities, creating an environment where children can learn, discover, and thrive every day.

This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional looking to lead a room within a supportive and child-focused setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner – essential
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a room and ensuring high-quality care and education
• Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with EYFS
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children
• Supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Supporting and guiding team members within the room
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently maintained
