Clinical Practice Educator, Maternity ( 10 MONTHS)

Detailed Description The Clinical Practice Educator (Maternity) is responsible for leading education, training and workforce development initiatives to support the delivery of safe, high-quality maternity care. The role combines educational leadership with a strong clinical presence, supporting staff development, competency achievement, professional growth and the delivery of evidence-based practice across maternity services. The postholder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote continuous learning, quality improvement and patient safety. Main ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver education and training programmes for maternity staff.Support workforce development, clinical competence and professional growth.Provide visible clinical leadership and support within maternity services.Facilitate preceptorship, competency assessment and simulation-based learning.Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety and continuous improvement.Contribute to audit, governance and compliance with national and local standards.
