About the Role

Sodexo is looking for an experienced

Facilities Manager to join our team in Grangegorman.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for the day-to-day management of the on-site

hard and soft services team, ensuring excellent service delivery, strong operational performance and compliance with contractual requirements.

You’ll play a key role in managing the site team, contractors, maintenance programmes, lifecycle works and reactive client requirements, while driving continuous improvement across the contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services.
  • Lead, support and develop the on-site service delivery team.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and lifecycle programmes.
  • Coordinate reactive works and ensure client requirements are delivered effectively.
  • Scope and verify minor works.
  • Manage the SSOW permitting system and promote safe working practices.
  • Lead Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks and Near Miss reporting.
  • Manage contractor engagement and site inductions.
  • Act as the key operational point of contact for on-site issues.
  • Manage materials ordering and maintain accurate contract and project records.
  • Deliver allocated projects on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Monitor remedial works, budgets and expenditure.
  • Support continuous improvement, innovation and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and monitor operational deadlines and performance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities professional who combines strong people leadership with commercial awareness and excellent customer service.

You’ll ideally have

  • Previous

FM management or coordination experience.

  • Experience managing both hard and soft FM services.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
  • Good understanding of FM technical services.
  • Experience working with contracts and commercial requirements.
  • Strong financial and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
  • The ability to analyse information, make decisions and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.
