About this role

Pathway Management Acting as the administrative lead for RTT and ensuring pathways meet Government Access Targets and the Trusts Patient Access Policy Monitoring and validating patient pathways using systems such as Millennium, ARIA and PPM Tracking and preventing potential breaches, working closely with waiting list and directorate staff Supporting administrative colleagues with RTT queries and training Reviewing documentation to confirm RTT clock start/stop dates Ensuring highquality data by validating appointments, treatment dates and TBS lists Providing regular RTT performance updates to the Support Manager and wider team Management & Service Support Acting as the departments expert in administrative processes and digital systems Providing training, troubleshooting support and guidance to staff Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and system performance Liaising with teams to support clinic utilisation and accurate templates Escalating capacity issues and contributing to performance delivery Coordinating consultant rotas and supporting daytoday operational needs Suggesting improvements to enhance patientcentred service delivery Medical Administrative Support Delivering a comprehensive administrative service including patient correspondence, formatting letters and managing documentation Preparing papers for meetings and taking minutes when needed Working closely with nurses, doctors and booking teams to support smooth patient care Managing calls, prioritising enquiries and arranging appointments Supporting consultant diaries, meetings and rotas Handling incoming correspondence and maintaining filing systems Supporting cancer fasttrack pathways where applicable Providing cover across the directorate and maintaining flexibility to meet service needs Service Planning & Improvement Contributing to service redesign projects with a focus on patientcentred improvement Supporting the triumvirate with project work and implementation of the Improving Together methodology Assisting with gathering patient and staff experience data Supporting investigations, complaints and incident responses in line with Trust processes
