About this role
We are working with a SEND School in Stockport, who are in need of a SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional learning, developmental, communication, and behavioural needs.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher who can provide engaging, individualised learning opportunities and support the academic, social, emotional, and personal development of pupils across the school.
· Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and learning activities tailored to the individual needs and abilities of pupils.
· Providing support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and Social Emotional Mental Health needs.
· Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, the wider school team, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support and achieve positive outcomes.
· Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupils' progress whilst adapting teaching strategies and interventions to meet individual learning needs.
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
· Proven experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
· Knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and Social Emotional Mental Health.
· A positive, resilient, and driven attitude.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities whilst adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
· Strong passion for children's progression, learning, and development.
· Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Ability to uphold policies and procedures relating to child protection, data protection, and health and safety to ensure the protection of children.
· Continuous incentive to uphold the school's core values and ethos.
