Hours

8:30-16:30, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)

Key Responsibilities

Provide targeted 1

1 and small-group support using Trauma-Informed Practice.

  • Deliver tailored curriculum interventions and track pupil progress against EHCP/IEP targets.
  • Foster student welfare, safeguarding, and restorative behaviour strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, multi-disciplinary staff, and families.

What You Need

Experience

3-6 months in an educational setting supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths & English (Grade 5/C or Level 2 equivalent).

Mindset

Highly resilient, committed, and proactive with a can-do attitude.

Requirements

Permanent UK Right to Work (no sponsorship provided) and an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Extras

  • Background in psychology, counselling, foster care, or residential care.
  • Strong communication skills and reliable transport.
